Creatively Realistic - A collection of model short stories

This e-book is for you! We never enjoyed the "model composition" books on the bookstore shelves and are always asked to recommend one... so we wrote one ourselves!
 
These stories are adapted and compiled from student submissions and teacher notes gathered during our Mindful English Learners course this year.
 
You will notice a big difference between the stories gathered here and the ones you might be used to: We DON'T use stock phrases and memorised sentences. We DON'T ask students to use "good vocabulary" for the sake of it.
 
We DO tell them to be mindful of word choice and to exercise good word economy -- that is, using just the right number and choice of words to convey the point.
 
Descriptions are kept meaningful -- you won't find the standard starting paragraphs telling you about the weather when the character is indoors! We're proud of our work and excited to share all these fun stories with you! 
 
The book contains 13 short stories, and is 37 pages long. The short stories range in theme from "An inconsiderate neighbour" to "A lost item".
